Gene Shalit Critic's Corner Set in the 80's

I remember going to the NBC Tour which included the Today Show in the late 80's. 

One hilarious thing I learned was that Gene Shalit's Critics Corner "set" was basically a small lemonade stand sized thing. 

Shalit sat on a stool!

Through the magic of television, it looked like he was in really amazing office. 

So clever!
